The program allows developers to access various text-based data via various query methods. One can access log files in various formats like XML, Text, and CSV along with data in MS Windows formats. This tool has features like IIS Logs, Event Logs, Active Directory, Logs4Net and many more. A simple configuration using it allows users to access the keys from various locations. Though this tool is not for lay man, it is simple to use for an experienced .net developer. Using Log Parser one can store the various types of custom queries in different groups so that they can be reused in the future.
